This is the second superstructure I’ve gotten around to crafting: a stone tower perched out on a neighboring hill. This one was just supposed to look pretty at night, so it’s also as tall as the altitude limit in Minecraft and it’s totally decked out with as many torches as I could get on the top spire. There’s a series of staircases that run around the inside of the building base, and a final exposed staircase on the spire itself so you can get to the very top. The inside also has a nice glow from all the torches mounted to the walls.
This was the first superstructure I made in Minecraft, pretty much all clods of dirt with some torches for lighting. There’s some ground shots, and views from the topmost point including sunsets and moon rises.
One interesting thing if you use all dirt: after a few “days” grass grows on the dirt, turning it back to a block with some green on the top.
Yes, this when bunnies REALLY attack:

Listened to KQED’s Snap Judgement program last night on the radio. You’ll love the story that comes on at 37:04 about Ferdinand Porsche. Check out the Podcast:

“I punch the pedal. The Porsche drills me into the seat. I can hit about 125 and I start talking to myself in a bad German accent. ‘You people bore me. I have toyed with you and I’m tired of your ineffectual cars and their puny performance.’ “
