It may have been Friday May 11th or the Friday before … I don’t remember. There was a major development effort announced at work and we all mobilized as quickly as we could to try to figure out how to meet the new challenge. So in the past 3 weeks (I think) we have been rewriting a whole section of our software to deal with an API which wasn’t even firm when we entered their beta program. But hopefully things are stabilizing out now and in a few days I’ll be able to blog about it.

In other news, I’ve been trying out this site, I’m In Like With You (IILWY). It’s a dating site which is based off of games you play with other users. It’s pretty fun, although quirky!

Finally, a friend’s wedding is coming up fast! OMG!!! This is going to be great! It all begins on Friday…

OK, I’ve got lots of stuff to do. More later!!!

Drats. Foiled.

I’m sitting at a Starbucks waiting for my car’s oil to be changed at a nearby service center. I just bought a Day Pass and I’m sitting down to enjoy my cup of coffee and get some work done. I log onto the wireless, boot Windows in Parallels, open up my VPN. And then. I realize the problem.

When you log on to your T-Mobile account your computer’s MAC address probably gets sent over to the access point and T-Mobile associates an IP with that address. That’s fine. But if you run Parallels then that appears to T-Mobile to be a different machine and it won’t give you a second IP address. So, unless I can figure out a way to bridge IP traffic then it’ll be impossible to get my Windows portion online.

Cutest. Show. Ever.

Dragon, the claymation pre-schooler show! OMG It’s so cute!!! It’s kinda like Blue’s Clues if it was an all-claymation cast.
